At HBMD, chemistry isn't something we do — it's who we are. We hire curious, rigorous, hands-on scientists and give them the tools, the autonomy and the mentorship to solve problems that matter: impurity profiling for global pharma, custom synthesis challenges that push literature boundaries, and GMP-grade intermediate manufacturing for medicines that reach millions of patients.
You'll work alongside Ph.D. chemists with decades of innovator-pharma experience, in a lab where every project carries real-world weight and every team member's voice shapes how we operate.
See Open RolesData-driven decisions, reproducible experiments, honest conversations about what worked and what didn't.
Small teams, flat hierarchy, and cross-functional problem solving — every chemist learns analytical, every analyst sees the bench.
You own your molecule from retrosynthesis to CoA. No hand-offs, no diluted accountability — that's how we deliver on regulatory deadlines.
Weekly literature sessions, conference sponsorships, and an in-house library. We pay for you to get better — because your growth is our edge.
We hire year-round for experienced chemists and also run a rolling internship programme for M.Sc / M.Pharm final-year students.
Lead multi-step syntheses of complex API impurities and NDSRIs. Own route design, scale-up and characterisation. Ph.D. in organic/medicinal chemistry preferred.
ApplyExecute mg-to-gram scale custom syntheses across diverse chemotypes. Hands-on experience with air-sensitive chemistry, chiral synthesis and isotope labelling is a plus.
ApplyDevelop and validate HPLC/UPLC and LC-MS methods to ICH Q2 standards. Generate dossier-ready CoAs, manage stability studies, and support impurity profiling projects.
ApplyOptimise and scale synthetic routes for API intermediates. Own DoE-driven yield improvement, crystallisation studies and tech-transfer to manufacturing.
ApplyPrepare dossier-ready documentation, maintain ICH-compliant QMS, review CoAs and spectra, and support regulatory submissions for our global pharma clients.
ApplyPaid internship for final-year M.Sc (Chemistry) or M.Pharm students. Gain hands-on exposure to impurity synthesis, analytical characterisation, and regulatory documentation.
